The pedometrics.org website is maintained on completely voluntary basis by the web-administrator and its members. The information presented herein is for informative purposes only. The Users can visit the Site and download and copy the information, documents and other data (Materials) for User's personal, non-commercial use, without any right to resell, redistribute or create derivative works.
Pedometrics.org specifically does not make any warranties or representations as to the accuracy or completeness of any website materials. Under no circumstances shall web-administrator or any member of the steering committee be liable for any loss, damage, liability or expense incurred or suffered which is claimed to resulted from use of this Site, including without limitation, any fault, error, omission, interruption or delay with respect thereto (reliance at User's own risk). In the case of above mentioned situations, you should contact the web-administrator and the members of the steering committee, preferably by a letter or a fax.
RULES OF GOOD BEHAVIOUR:
1. PEDOMETRICS.ORG will encourage publication of materials that:
- announce future events such as research conferences, formal and informal meetings, openings of new buildings, institutions and societies;
- announce job positions or training courses or regular Msc or PhD study programmes;
- start new discussion themes and ask for exchange of experience and information;
2. The web-administrators have the right to remove or modify uploaded materials that:
- are not at all related with the core business of the PEDOMETRICS.ORG;
- do not at all represent views of the PEDOMETRICS.ORG;
- are incorrect, incomplete or are or of questionable quality;
- criticize other members or other societies without giving any arguments and reasoning;
3. The materials that are uploaded to the website will remain exclusive responsibility of the members and does not reflect the opinion of the PEDOMETRICS.ORG and the PEDOMETRICS.ORG is not responsible for any use that can be made of this data.
4. Members are warned not to disseminate (and especially not via www) any information available via intranet without a permission of the webmaster or the original authors of the data.
5. Members that do not follow any of the above-listed rules will be first warned and then, if their actions are not changed within a period of 30 days, removed from the list of the members list. In such situations, the PEDOMETRICS.ORG administrators can decide to permanently remove such members from the list and not allow them to participate in the PEDOMETRICS.ORG meetings and events.
