Call for Abstracts
We are calling for abstract submission (and ultimately papers) that address the topics in digital soil mapping and assessment.

Abstract Submission and Format

The deadline of abstract submission is 30 November 2011 (Submission now closed). The abstract is in English and a concise summary of no more than 250 words.
If you have problems with the on-line submission, e-mail your Abstract as an attachment file to the Organising Secretaria.
Your Abstract will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, and you will be notified in due time (by the end of December 2011) regarding its acceptance.
Since the format is a workshop, all presentations (except for invited keynote presentations) are limited to a maximum of 8 minutes. At the end of each session of presentations, the discussant will lead a discussion of all papers presented. A rapporteur will record the key points raised in the discussion and report these in the final discussion near the end of the workshop.
Paper format
Only accepted good quality abstract is invited to develop into a full paper that must be submitted by 28 February 2012. The full paper will be refereed and will be published as a Conference Proceedings by CRC Press/Balkema. The papers will be indexed for citation purposes in major databases (e.g. ISI, EI, and others). Registered participants will receive the hardbound publication free.
The paper must follow the template provided here. The paperr should have a title of less than 15 words, and list all of the authors' name and affiliations/institutions. The abstract should be a concise summary of no more than 250 words. The text of the paper, excluding the abstract and including reference list should be less than 2500 words. A maximum of 10 references may be cited. Each paper is allowed up to six (6) total figures plus tables. Please use the following paper template: provided here.
